I had the honour of illustrating the cover (Franco in Space) and inside illustration of the latest Fiction edition of The Big Issue (Australia). They have a story exclusively written for The Big Issue by hollywood actor and writer James Franco and well as new stories by Sophie Cunningham, Tony Birch and Andy Murdoch.
The theme for this issue is ‘2012, the end of the world’ and hits the streets at the end of the week, by buying a copy from your local vendor you are supporting the homeless and longterm unemployed, plus Tony Birch’s story is about a magic foreskin. If that doesn’t make you want to buy a copy I don’t know what will!
It is being launched at the Melbourne Writers Festival this saturday by Former poet laureate Sir Andrew Motion. Come join the fun!
